Bollywood mourns the loss of comedian Junior Mehmood, who passed away on December 7th after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was 67 years old.

Mehmood’s condition took a turn for the worse on the night of December 7th, and he was rushed to Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his illness.

Several Bollywood stars visited Mehmood’s residence to pay their respects, including Raza Murad and Johny Lever. The late actor’s burial took place at the Juhu Muslim Cemetery on December 8th, where he was laid to rest beside his mother.

Mehmood’s friend, Salam Kazi, shared that the actor’s health had declined rapidly in the past two months. Initially thought to be a minor issue, his weight loss prompted further investigation, leading to the diagnosis of stage four cancer in his liver, lungs, and intestines, along with jaundice.

Mehmood’s comedic talent and contributions to the film industry will be deeply missed. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and joy that will continue to resonate with audiences for generations to come.
